BIOGRAPHY

Ruva Chigwedere is a Zimbabwean-born actress, singer, and writer based in New York City. She graduated from Harvard University with a joint B.A. in Theater, Dance & Media and History and Literature. Ruva has also trained with the London Academy of Music and Dramatic Arts and Atlantic Acting School. Recent theater credits include: FOR COLORED GIRLS [BlackCAST]; THE TAMING OF THE SHREW [LAMDA]; and DIE ZAUBERFLÖTE [Harvard College Opera]. When not performing, she can be found eating any and every dessert available, running, and practicing her French. She is an Affiliate Artist of ISLE Theater Company.
